The wooden Ant Life Cycle blocks are a great way to learn about ants and how they grow. From eggs to adults, this life cycle set shows each stage in the full cycle, including the larva and pupa. It also  includes a wooden ant hill block, which is great for small world play and discussions about the ants' habitat.The wood Ant Life Cycle educational play set comes with 5* wooden ant/egg figurines, plus the ant hill, for a total of 6 wood blocks.

Also available is a laminated Ant Life Cycle Chart. Your child can match the wooden life cycle blocks to the corresponding location in the cycle of the ant. This makes a great montessori activity. Place the wood blocks in a basket alongside the Life Cycle chart. 

These wooden life cycle blocks are great for little hands, as they are lightweight and easy to hold. Some pieces are small and are not recommend for children under the age of 3. Adult supervision is recommended. These blocks measure approximately 1 to 6.5 inches long/tall. They are each 0.75 inches deep. 
 
These wooden toys are all made by hand. Each wood toy is hand-cut and sanded. The blocks are one-sided; the backs are blank. The watercolor images are sealed with a non-toxic sealant that is safe for your little ones. They are not waterproof and are not intended for water play or to be immersed in water. The back sides are unsealed natural wood; the image and sides are sealed. If they get wet, air dry.
